In 1977 a Golden Record was launched into space aboard each of the two Voyager spacecraft, with a capsule containing sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth as a message to any extraterrestrial civilisation that might find it.
One of the diagrams on the cover depicts Earth's location, by showing a 'map' that showing the location of our solar system in the Milky Way. This map uses the positions and pulse timing frequencies of 14 pulsars to help locate Earth.

  • Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
  • Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
  • Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.

Fabric and Fit

Regular fit, Crew neck 
Mid weight, 180 GSM
100% combed cotton (marles 15% polyester) 
Neck ribbing, side seamed, shoulder to shoulder tape, double needle hems, preshrunk to minimise shrinkage.
NB: Long in body length, ladies may prefer to shorten it if they prefer a hip length tee.

  • Machine wash cold with like colours.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry (these tees are likely to shrink in the dryer)
  • Do not dry clean.
  • Do not iron printed side
  • Line dry in shade.

  • Maximum washing temperature 30 C, inside out, with like colorus
  • Do not bleach
  • Tumble dry only at very low temperature to prevent shrinkage
  • Do not iron
  • Do not dry clean
