Give Back Initiative

The Awareness Edit collection has been designed to spark conversations and raise awareness around mental health. Each design is available in two styles: the Essential Edition, and the Inscribed Edition - which adds a unique sleeve message to each garment, enhancing the design while serving as a gentle reminder to the wearer.

The Inscribed Edition is where we are able to give back. The sleeve message adds $5 to the cost of the sweatshirt, and we donate that full $5 to Australian charities supporting the mental health of veterans and frontline personnel.

Breaking the Stigma and Giving Back

Despite growing awareness, there is still a strong stigma surrounding mental health in high-pressure professions, especially among ADF personnel, veterans, CFA volunteers, and frontline first responders, including police, fire and ambulance. Too often, these everyday heroes suffer in silence because they fear the impact speaking up could have on their careers. We want to help break that cycle.

Soldier On Australia

For the rest of 2026, and as our first chosen charity to support, we have selected Soldier On. Soldier On helps current and former Defence families build new careers, enhance their skills, maintain physical and mental health, and reconnect with family and community, so they can lead meaningful civilian lives.

Made on the Road is an authorised fundraiser supporting Soldier On. Authority to Fundraise ID: 149268/0826 until 31 Dec 2026. 

We are thrilled to support Soldier On and believe that the services they provide are very much needed by our serving and veteran families.

Made on the Road is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Country Fire Authority (CFA), or any specific Defence or emergency service branch. All organisation names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

The $5 upgrade fee collected from every sale of an Awareness Edit Inscribed Edition represents a 100% pass-through donation pool. These funds are tracked separately and will be donated in full as a lump sum at the conclusion of the calendar year.

Proof of donation will be made publicly available to our community once the donation has been completed.
